Each design begins as a full size drawing rendered freehand. Once it has been transferred to the prepared clay, the tiles are cut. Then, using knives and modeling tools, Pat creates her intricately textured designs on the clay’s surface, allowing many layers of glaze to be applied. Fine in detail and vibrant in color, the rich depth of these glazes brings her images to life.
